Zurich – Cacio e Pepe is a Roman pasta dish. “Cacio e Pepe” means “cheese and pepper” in several central Italian languages. As the name suggests, the ingredients of the dish are very simple and include only black pepper and Pecorino Romano cheese (Wiki).
I had fried little sardins, filled artichokes and parmigiana for starter. These three dishes were absolutely yummy and I can’t wait to order these again during my next visit very soon! As a main I tried the spaghetti cacio e pepe. The spaghetti were great and al dente, the sauce tasty as well but next time I definitely want to try the cream-free carbonara, which must be fantastic.
